RB Isiah Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs
• Pacheco has got off to a terrific start for Kansas City, producing the league's third-most rushing yards over expected. He has received the bulk of his team's carries and has notably taken 66% of the red-zone rushes, a top-10 mark in the NFL.
• Most important here is his attachment to the Chiefs offense. Through three weeks, the Chiefs have run 39 plays inside the red zone, the fifth-most among teams.
• The market is pricing Kansas City at a discounted 25.5 points this week. However, we have a large sample of how explosive and dominant this offense can be, even in tough matchups. I’ll take the discount on Andy Reid's squad and take Pacheco at +180.
WR Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals
• Tee Higgins has been targeted on 44.4% of his red-zone routes this season, tied for the fifth-highest rate in the NFL through three weeks.
• The Bengals are a pass-heavy team and have already produced one of the league's highest pass rates over expected. That said, teams pass against the Tennessee Titans at the highest rate in the NFL, with teams even dialing that up in the red zone.
• Look for Higgins to get back in the end zone. He ranks 11th in touchdowns since the beginning of 2022.
RB Latavius Murray, Buffalo Bills
• He may not have many touches, but Murray is the goal-line back for this dynamic Bills offense. He ranks fifth among running backs in carries from inside the 5-yard line and second in carries from inside the 2-yard line.
• In a high-flying matchup with the Miami Dolphins, the Bills should put up plenty of points and are likely to attack via the ground game in the red zone, as the Dolphins' run defense has allowed the third-worst success rate to opposing offenses inside the red zone this season.
• Priced at a discount because Murray gets few snaps outside of the red zone, I want to bet on Murray’s role in a high-flying offense in a high-total game.
