QB Sam Howell, Washington Commanders
Fantasy Pros Consensus ADP: (200.3)
- Howell draws a juicy matchup in Week 1 against the Arizona Cardinals, who are the odds-on favorites to get the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
- Howell may very well be without his top wide receiver Terry McLaurin, but he should still have plenty of weapons to throw to.
- Even without McLaurin, Jahan Dotson should be considered a significant mismatch against the Cardinals’ unproven cornerbacks, none of whom have higher than Day 3 draft capital invested in them.
- Howell could get off to a hot start in Week 1, showcasing his ability to run Eric Bieniemy’s offense with rushing upside.
