The goal of this weekly DFS tournament picks article is to identify at least one player each week who is in the winning DraftKings Milly Maker lineup at less than 15% ownership. Last week, we scored a monster hit with Nick Chubb alongside a game script that told the story of a Browns upset against the Steelers.
Unfortunately, we completely whiffed on Rob Gronkowski, whose pass-catching role was inexplicably usurped by Cameron Brate. In hindsight, I should have paid more attention to the fact that Brate had more routes run than Gronkowski over the previous two weeks leading up to the playoffs.
Lessons learned, and we forge ahead to a juicy four-game slate for the NFL Divisional Round. Below are players who I will lean on to differentiate my rosters while aiming for first place in DFS tournaments.
RB Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers
Aaron Jones is going to be severely overlooked this week. The most common roster construction will be to pay down at one or both running back spots so as to jam in the high-priced stud wide receivers. Accordingly, playing Jones in tandem with another high-priced running back will force you into a completely different roster build from the field.
