Welcome to the Week 12 DraftKings Tournament Guide! This Guaranteed Prize Pool overview covers the main slate on DraftKings and how to approach the week with roster building strategies, games to target, and cheap salary-saving dart throws that could reach their ceilings this week. Let’s get right into Week 12 and analyze how we should be approaching the main slate for tournaments this week.

Roster-building strategies

It’s another ideal mass-multi-enter week

The combination of pricing, schedule, and timing of breakout players at the running back position has Week 12 feeling like another MME week. This week’s unique angle brings us not only a lot of running backs to choose from, but we have options at every price point for us to pursue.

The top-priced running backs look to be in beatable matchups with many scoring 20-plus DK points in our projections. Keep an eye on Melvin Gordon’s status (hamstring/knee) after being limited in practice Thursday and Friday. If he’s unable to go, increase exposure to Saquon Barkley, David Johnson, and Christian McCaffrey. All three are in great spots for potential ceiling games.

Marlon Mack’s pricing on DK ($5,500) is going to make him a tough fade against Miami. Mack is averaging 19.8 touches per game over his last four outings and is playing at home as a 7.5-point favorite. Leonard Fournette, Nick Chubb, and Matt Breida are a few other mid-priced options worthy of incorporating into your lineups — particularly in game stacks.

There are even several backs priced under the $5K mark who are seeing enough volume to warrant roster consideration. I’ll expand on them in a later segment, but there’s just so much flexibility at the running back position this week that you can go in just about any direction.

This is naturally going to lead to some wildly varying rosters in Week 12. Roster construction is going to be all over the map, so building a player pool of the right running backs to mix and match is going to be pertinent to success.
