Heading into Week 11 in fantasy football, we’re back again for another look at the best waiver wire claims to make in IDP leagues. The playoffs are getting closer now, which means a lot of leagues have either had their trade deadlines pass or they are coming up in the next week or so. This leaves us with only one option to add to our IDP team now — the waiver-wire. These next few weeks will likely be busy ones for contending teams leading to competitive waiver-wire activity, so we’re here to help you make sure you make the best decisions for your fantasy football roster.
Defensive line
Maxx Crosby, DE, Oakland Raiders
Leading his team in total pressures, having the most tackles among edge defenders on his team and now starting two straight games (and over 60 snaps in three straight) for the Raiders D, it's time to buy some stock in this rookie edge rusher while we can. Crosby has looked the part as a legitimate pass-rushing threat in year one and can be added to IDP rosters as depth or a starter depending on the makeup of your team and should provide value either way.
Trent Murphy, DE, Buffalo Bills
Murphy has been kind of an underperforming IDP option this season, as he's started every game for Buffalo but hasn't really given us that big IDP game. At least, that was true until Week 10 against the Browns, when he was able to combine 6 solos and 3 assists into a nice fantasy day for anyone who trusted him enough to start him. It's hopeful, but maybe this is the game Murphy needed to get going down the stretch and turn those snaps into some useful fantasy points.
