We’ve reached the halfway point of our fantasy football regular season, which almost certainly means injuries have impacted fantasy rosters, and the need to fill holes in IDP continues to grow as we get closer to playoff time.
Going into Week 8, here are 10 IDP options to help your fantasy rosters.
Defensive line
DeMarcus Walker, DT, Denver Broncos
Walker has put together a couple of nice fantasy performances the last two weeks, totaling 3 sacks, 5 solo tackles, and 2 assists over this span. Although not a starter on the Broncos defense at this point, he has been making the most of his snaps, which is a good sign should his workload increase at any point in the next few weeks. Walker has also already doubled his career total for sacks as he now sits at 4 for the year.
Jeffery Simmons, DT, Tennessee Titans
After tearing his ACL in February, Simmons made his NFL debut on Sunday and looked like he fit the bill of the first-round pick the Titans drafted spent on him. Tennessee looked to be easing Simmons into his first game; he only played 21 snaps, but was still able to put up some full-time numbers by landing his first career sack to go along with 4 solos and 2 TFLs. Simmons role will likely only increase as the season progresses, making him a top target in DT-premium leagues.
