Arguably the most crucial week of the fantasy football regular season is upon us. While some teams are on the cusp of making the fantasy playoffs, we first have to make the correct start and sit decisions. We all have our studs who we trust in every week, but let’s look at some of the names that are less obvious as we make our final playoff pushes in Week 13.

DEFENSIVE LINE

START — DE Emmanuel Ogbah, Miami Dolphins (vs. CIN)

Emmanuel Ogbah has been one of the hotter names in IDP this season due in large part to his eight sacks, three forced fumbles and team-leading 45 pressures this season. And while the past couple of weeks have been quiet for Ogbah and his fantasy managers, that doesn’t mean the production is over.

One component that has made Ogbah so great this season has been his snap volume. At nearly 600 snaps, he is among the top 15 at his position in playing time, and such high volume provides him immense opportunity to put up strong fantasy numbers. This is very unlikely to change given his success this season, so we may start to see that production return in Week 13.

Ogbah gets a matchup against Brandon Allen and the Cincinnati Bengals, who hold a 58.9 pass-blocking grade as a team, which is the sixth-worst mark in the NFL. Miami's defense should be in for a nice matchup this Sunday to help put Ogbah back on track to what we’ve come to expect from him this season.

SIT — DE Derek Barnett, Philadelphia Eagles (vs. GB)

Derek Barnett got a chance to shine in primetime Monday night, and he made the most of it with some big plays — including a stop on fourth down and a sack on Russell Wilson. While this was nice to see for those who roster Barnett, he isn’t always able to come up with these big games. In fact, he is often stymied when going up against some of the better left tackles in the NFL.
