It’s the biggest week of the fantasy football season — championship week. With this comes the anxiety of making the right start and sit decisions to help you bring home that title.
In our final look at starts and sits for the 2020 season, I’ve compiled a list of the names that people have been asking me the most questions about this past week in the hopes that we can provide some clarity as to who to trust and who might be best avoided in Week 16.
DEFENSIVE LINE
START — DE CAMERON JORDAN, NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (vs. MIN)
This season hasn't been Cameron Jordan's best, and in many ways, it could even be seen as a disappointment. But that doesn’t mean he’s not still a top option at the defensive end position, especially going up against a Vikings team that is among the worst in the league with a 59.8 pass-blocking grade.
Jordan is coming off a Week 15 game where he was ejected late for throwing a punch, which took away any additional opportunity to add to his fantasy production, leaving many Jordan managers disappointed.
If you were able to survive his performance from this past week, then do not bench him out of spite unless you’re in love with your other option’s matchup. Consider this a redemption week for Jordan against Kirk Cousins, who ranks inside the top eight in the NFL in sacks taken.
SIT — DE FRANK CLARK, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (vs. ATL)
Frank Clark has been starting in so many fantasy lineups all season long, floating by on past seasons' production while doing the bare minimum every week. Every once in a while, he'll get a sack to make fantasy managers think he’s back to his old self.
