Las Vegas Raiders edge defender Maxx Crosby draws an ideal matchup in Week 3 against the lowest-graded pass-blocking unit in the NFL and a rookie right tackle.

Eric Kendricks bounces back into the top 12 thanks to an IDP-friendly defense for the Minnesota Vikings top linebacker.

New York Giants’ safety Julian Love is one of the biggest risers this week after playing mostly as a linebacker in Week 2.

Estimated Reading Time: 12 mins

Two weeks' worth of data points is certainly better than one, but as things continue to unfold this season, sticking with what we know to be reliable production metrics is still the key early in the season. Be sure to reference the Week 2 IDP Utilization Report to get the most detail on each defensive player from every NFL team.

Eric Kendricks (LB8) was quiet in Week 1 with just four total tackles but doubled his production in Week 2. While his numbers this past week weren’t blowing any IDP managers away, the Vikings' defense could potentially allow him to have much more productive days going forward after running a league-high zone coverage rate (96%) in Week 2, which yields a higher tackle rate for linebackers on average.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (LB28) saw his snap share dip below 80% in Week 2, and while he still led the Browns’ linebackers in snaps, there are going to be some better high-volume options at the position heading into Week 3.

Kyzir White (LB50) has now played back-to-back games with a snap share below 75%, pushing him down the rankings to make room for higher-volume, more efficient linebackers.
