• Kyzir White deserving of a top-10 linebacker ranking: The Arizona Cardinals’ top off-ball linebacker is taking advantage of his circumstances and draws a strong matchup to keep his high-end production going in Week 4.
• Danielle Hunter off to a very productive start: While his pass-rush metrics haven’t been off the charts, Hunter is playing more than enough snaps and gets a fantastic matchup this week against the Carolina Panthers to maintain his top-five edge ranking.

Kyzir White (LB10) has been one of the most effective IDP linebackers this season thanks to an every-down role in Arizona’s zone-heavy defense. White gets a positive matchup this week against a run-heavy offense with a low average depth of target, which should allow for more great production.
Chad Muma (LB23) should be added on waiver wires where available. He could play an every-down role with Devin Lloyd expected to miss multiple weeks. Muma plays in a more zone-heavy defense and has the potential to put up strong tackle numbers against a run-heavy Falcons offense. This game is being played early on Sunday (London), so be sure to set those lineups on time to get him in.
Terrel Bernard (LB29) is coming off a big week that included two sacks and an interception. This obviously vaulted him up the overall scoring leaderboard, but it’s important to not get too caught up in chasing previous production. There will likely be fewer opportunities for him to come up with interceptions and sacks this week against a Miami offense that has allowed just a 3.7% quarterback knockdown rate (tied for second best). Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa also boasts a top-five turnover-worthy-play rate this season (1.9%).

Danielle Hunter (ED5) hasn’t necessarily posted the best pass-rush metrics so far this season, with a 69.1 pass-rush grade, but that hasn’t stopped him from totaling five sacks through three games. Hunter is playing a ton, averaging 91% of the team’s defensive snaps so far this season, and he draws another great matchup against the Carolina Panthers this week. The Panthers have allowed more pressures (65) than any other team in the league in 2023.
Byron Young (ED36) has gotten off to a great start this season and, much like Hunter, has done so almost entirely due to the volume of snaps he is playing. Young is averaging 90% of the team’s defensive snaps and has gotten in on a sack in every game thus far. He also does not have overly encouraging pass-rush metrics (67.3) to suggest this continuing or improving in the weeks ahead and draws a tougher matchup this week against the Colts’ 12th-ranked pass-blocking offensive line. For IDP managers looking for a volume-heavy option, Young will continue to be a perfectly fine streamer going forward.

Quinnen Williams (DT6) has been held without a sack so far this season and draws a difficult matchup against Patrick Mahomes, one of the least-sacked quarterbacks in the league, on Sunday night. Williams is still getting great usage and has been a force in the run game. That and his pass-rush ability have still allowed him to produce top-10 defensive tackle numbers despite the lack of sacks.

Jevon Holland (S3) has been one of the top-scoring IDP safeties in each of the past three weeks. That is no fluke, considering his usage in Vic Fangio’s defense. Holland is spending a strong 32% of his defensive snaps in the box so far this season, which has allowed him to produce consistent tackle numbers. He should continue to do so in a great matchup against the Buffalo Bills in Week 4.
Julian Blackmon (S9) has been another consistently strong tackler from the safety position, and much like Holland, it is in large part due to his role in the team’s defense. Blackmon has lined up in the box on 46% of his defensive snaps, which has paved the way for him to record a high 12.5% tackle efficiency rate on the year.

Alontae Taylor (CB2) has increased his snap share in each of the past three weeks, and as a result, his fantasy production has greatly improved. Taylor is working as the Saints’ primary slot cornerback, which led to 11 targets thrown his way in Week 3. He broke up five passes in the game to go along with five tackles. He should be in for another busy workload against Tampa Bay this week.
Kader Kohou (CB3) should also be very busy this coming week, going against the Bills in what is projected to be a high-scoring battle. Kohou should be on the field for 100% of snaps this week, which will create plenty of production opportunities against Josh Allen and the Bills.
