While we can’t see the future, we can look at fluky parts of performance that will likely not continue. Let's examine three units that will likely present themselves differently than they have thus far. These groups have either performed exceptionally bad or well in metrics that are notably important to the outcome of a game — but not as important when evaluating a team going forward.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Offense
Despite having played two defenses that were below average last year, the Buccaneers' offense ranks only 19th in offensive expected points added (EPA) per play, behind teams such as the Washington Football Team and the Detroit Lions. Yet, Tom Brady — who leads all passes with a 93.0 PFF grade — is widely considered to be a top-three MVP candidate after two weeks of play.
What is going on here?
