The Philadelphia Eagles picked up their 10th win of the season in dramatic fashion with an overtime triumph over the now 6-6 Buffalo Bills.
Offensive spotlight: It took some time for the Eagles' passing game to get going, but Jalen Hurts ultimately delivered through the air and on the ground again, coming up with 200 passing yards and three passing touchdowns. Hurts also added two rushing touchdowns, including a 12-yard walk-off score in overtime. DeVonta Smith led the team with 106 receiving yards and a touchdown, and A.J. Brown also found the endzone with just 37 yards receiving. D’Andre Swift had another efficient day running the ball, taking 14 carries for 80 yards on the ground.
Josh Allen also delivered two rushing touchdowns in this game on nine carries for 81 yards. Allen also passed for 339 yards and two touchdowns. Allen leaned heavily on Gabe Davis and Stefon Diggs through the air, with them seeing 12 and 11 targets, respectively. Davis hauled in six catches for 105 yards and a touchdown, while Diggs also caught six for 74 yards and a touchdown. James Cook handled the bulk of the backfield work, taking 16 carries for 43 yards and bringing in six catches for 57 yards.
Defensive spotlight: Eagles cornerback James Bradberry came up with five pass breakups in this game. He was targeted 15 times, pending review, and snagged an interception, too.
Terrel Bernard has taken over the top linebacker duties with Matt Milano done for the year, and he came up with a big interception of Jalen Hurts early in the second quarter. It was his third pick of the season.
Rookie spotlight: Dalton Kincaid caught five of six targets thrown his way for 38 yards. This marks the sixth straight game that Kincaid has had at least five receptions in a game as he becomes more involved in the Bills' offense with Dawson Knox out of the lineup.
Jalen Carter didn’t deliver a sack in this game but did come up with three pressures and two defensive stops on 80% of the team’s defensive snaps, playing a season-high 76 snaps this week — all pending review.
