The Las Vegas Raiders blew out the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday Night Football, winning 63-21 to move to 6-8 on the year. Here is our initial statistical review of the game.
Game Summary
According to our new noise-canceled score metric, the Raiders offensive performance, albeit good, didn’t quite deserve 63 points. They got two defensive scores and four touchdown drives that started in Chargers territory.
We credit the Chargers offense with a performance worth 17 points over the whole game. Still, it’s noteworthy that their offensive performance before falling 0-49 was worth basically zero points, by our estimation. Their best drives up to that point went 21 and 24 yards, respectively, and ended in turnovers.
