The Buffalo Bills traveled to Los Angeles and were met by a challenging Chargers team, but they ultimately picked up a third straight win and moved to 9-6 on the year.
Offensive spotlight: Josh Allen led the Bills through the air and on the ground, rushing for two touchdowns himself. Allen threw the ball 21 times, completing 15 passes for 237 yards, a touchdown and an interception.
Stefon Diggs had a quieter day, catching only five passes for 29 yards, while Gabe Davis caught four of his six targets for 130 yards and a 57-yard touchdown to get the Bills in the end zone for the first time in this game.
James Cook didn’t have the kind of game he did last week against Dallas, running the ball 20 times for 70 yards and fumbling twice, losing a crucial one in the fourth quarter that resulted in the Chargers taking the lead with five and a half minutes left.

The Chargers put up a much better fight in this game than they did last week. They were again led by quarterback Easton Stick, who completed 23-of-33 passes for 207 yards. Stick did not throw a touchdown in this one, but he ran one in early in the game to put the Chargers up 10-0.
Without Keenan Allen in the lineup for the second straight week, Stick’s top targets were Gerald Everett and Josh Palmer, who led the team with eight targets each.
After taking a back seat in a blowout last week, Austin Ekeler dominated the rushing share out of the backfield again, carrying the ball 15 times for 65 yards and adding three catches for 21 receiving yards.
Defensive spotlight: Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver was a lot for the Chargers' offensive line to handle, as he not only delivered multiple pressures in this game but delivered a crucial sack in the fourth quarter, limiting the Chargers’ scoring drive to a field goal. Oliver then came up with his second sack on the Chargers' final drive, which essentially ended the chances of Los Angeles pulling out a miracle win.
Rookie spotlight: Quentin Johnston has had a quiet season compared to many of his classmates, which continued this week. Even with Keenan Allen out of the lineup, Johnston earned just five targets, catching two for 29 yards.
Chargers second-round edge defender Tuli Tuipulotu has been among the best run defenders in the league. He came up with another strong game this week, delivering three defensive stops and five total tackles.
