Coming off Week 2 wins, the Cooper Rush-led Dallas Cowboys head out on the road to take on Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley, and the New York Giants.
The Giants are slight home favorites in this one, with yet total below 40 points coming in this week.
Can these two NFC East teams put on a good show Monday?
Regardless, we have four Anytime TD prop bets to consider a contest where points are projected to be at a premium.
New York Giants (-1) vs. Dallas Cowboys (39)
BET: COWBOYS WR CEEDEE LAMB ANYTIME TD (+180 ON CAESARS)
· Targets Galore: Throwing 31 passes in Week 2, Cowboys QB Cooper Rush sought out WR CeeDee Lamb 10 times. This was easily the most targets of any Cowboys receiver, with Noah Brown next (5). Fellow WR Michael Gallup might be back in the lineup, but the amount of work he gets could be slowly ramped up, still putting Lamb in the driver’s seat as the No. 1 option. This +180 line certainly correlates to faith in Rush, but our Player Props tool has Rush as an immense value to go over 1.5 passing touchdowns in this one.
BET: GIANTS WR DAVID SILLS ANYTIME TD (+550 ON DRAFTKINGS)
· He Plays More Than You Think: Despite seeing four targets this year, Giants WR David Sills played their most passing-down snaps — and ran the most routes — among receivers in Week 2 against the Panthers. Sills' average depth of target of 7.3 yards is somewhat limiting. Still, he’ll draw plenty of looks in this one from Cowboys CB Anthony Brown, who has a 56.2 coverage grade this season and allowed six catches on nine targets for 52 yards and a score in Week 2. With Sills +550 to score, there are worse dart throws.
BET: GIANTS QB DANIEL JONES ANYTIME TD (+270 ON CAESARS)
· Daniel “Agile” Jones: At first glance, Giants QB Daniel Jones might seem unsuspecting, but he’s a solid runner with the football at the QB position. The Giants have called eight designed runs for the 6’5” 230-pounder, who has added eight scrambles. In Week 2, he had 10 total rushes (four designed; six scrambles), and these rushing totals from quarterbacks will eventually turn into a touchdown. RB Saquon Barkley will be a focal point of the Cowboys defense, so perhaps we get some bootleg running action from Jones.
BET: GIANTS WR STERLING SHEPARD ANYTIME TD (+280 ON DRAFTKINGS)
The Best Giants WR?: With one fewer passing-down snap and one less route run than Sills, Shepard’s role simply has paid more dividends. In Week 2, Shepard saw 10 targets, including six catches and 34 yards. He also caught a long touchdown in a limited role in Week 1. Shepard profiles as the Giants' No. 1 receiver heading into “Monday Night Football” and should see plenty of Cowboys No. 1 CB Trevon Diggs. Though he is known as the “interception man,” Diggs is beatable in coverage, where he has a 56.7 grade and has allowed 10 catches on 15 targets for 98 yards and a score. Jones might shy away because of Diggs’ ability to create turnovers, but at +280 for the No. 1 option against a beatable corner? Let’s ride.
