- Through the first quarter of the season, the ninth-year center has arguably played the best football of his career, excelling in all facets of the game. He’s been impressive in the run game, where his run blocking grade of 93.1 ranks second among 34 qualifying centers.
- He’s also been excellent in pass protection, and currently ranks first among centers with a pass blocking grade of 85.4. Mack has allowed just one hurry on his 146 pass blocking snaps so far, for a pass-blocking efficiency of 99.5 that ranks second among centers with at least 110 snaps in protection.
