Hunt sits above the field in RB grades through 4 weeks

FOXBOROUGH, MA - SEPTEMBER 7: Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt (27) outruns the Patriots defense on a long gain for first down that set up the Chiefs' final touchdown, before New England Patriots free safety Devin McCourty (32) was able to force him out of bounds on this run. • Through four games of the 2017 season, Kansas City Chiefs rookie running back Kareem Hunt is the highest-graded running back in the league, with an elite grade of 93.4. At this point in the year, Hunt is the second-highest-graded player at any position, just behind Atlanta Falcons center Alex Mack (93.9).
  • Since fumbling on his first professional carry, Hunt has done nothing but dominate in his rookie season. He’s accounted for 68 carries and racked up 502 yards on the ground, the highest mark among running backs. An astonishing 50.4 percent of his yardage total has come on runs of 15 or more yards.
  • On rushing attempts alone, Hunt has forced 25 missed tackles, more than any other back has forced on runs and receptions, combined. On his 81 total touches (rushing and receiving) Hunt has broken a total of 31 tackles and now boasts an elusive rating of 144.1, the best mark in the league by a considerable amount.
  • Hunt also made quite an impression catching the ball out of the backfield. Through four games, he has caught all 13 of his catchable targets and currently ranks sixth among running backs with an average of 2.31 yards per route run.
