Titans DE Karl Klug could miss start of camp

  • According to a report by titansonline.com, defensive end Karl Klug could miss the start of Titans camp as he continues his rehab from the ruptured Achilles tendon that he suffered in Week 16 of the 2016 season.
  • Klug spent the first three years of his career playing the majority of his snaps as a defensive tackle, before switching to defensive end in 2014. Since entering the league, he has finished in the top 20 players at his position in pass-rush productivity (PRP measures pressure created on a per-snap basis with weighting toward sacks). In 2016, his pass-rush productivity of 9.2 ranked fifth of 53 defensive ends with at least 130 pass-rush snaps.
  • Klug finished the 2016 season with an overall grade of 81.3, the highest overall grade of his career, which ranked 22nd of 127 players at his position. His 3 pass-rushing grade was 12th best at the position.
