- USF CB Mazzi Wilkins’ dominant campaign continued this past Saturday against East Carolina with possibly his best game to date. He surrendered just two receptions for 15 yards on nine throws into his coverage, and posted an interception and four pass break-ups.
- He already has three interceptions and eight break-ups on the year, and not surprisingly leads the country in total passes defensed.
- The NFL will want him to add bulk to his frame, but his aggressiveness and instincts in coverage make him a viable next-level defender both outside and in the slot.
